Vintage SKUNK PLANTER Japan? Grinning Skunk

Adorable vintage skunk planter is holding a little flowered
vessel perfect for pencils, a plant, whatever you'd like!
Wonderful clean condition with no chips or repairs, the
colors are bright and happy and this little guy is grinning all
over the place! On the underside there is a 59
in a circle...
perhaps the original price? Measures about 4" high and 5 1/4"
long. This was possibly made in Japan, not sure?
